In accordance with our mission statement and core values, Providence strives to have an excellent Christ-centered athletic program where all student-athletes can grow in character, confidence, skills, strength, and in their spirituality.
In February, Class Six students will travel to Camp Grady Spruce for a team-building retreat focusing on discipleship. Students will also learn how to walk more closely with the Lord and how to follow Him in their daily lives. Some of the fun activities they will participate in are archery, hiking, fishing, cooking, star gazing, photography development, and visiting around a campfire.
Please join us from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on Saturday, February 22, in the Great Hall for a family seminar on the topic of marriage. It is with great pleasure that we announce that John and Pam McGee will share the wisdom they have gleaned from their twenty-five years of marriage.
Each year, Providence students take several weeks to read excellent works of literature to help raise funds for the scholarship fund. While raising these funds, they increase their reading skills and comprehension levels and develop an appreciation for the masters of literature as they explore new works and revisit old “friends” all while learning to be more others-focused!
